The completion in 1997 of the Great Wales Window of Sherborne Abbey, and its dedication on 8th May 1998 in the presence of H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, immediately stimulated new interest in the Abbey's glass. John Hayward, artist and maker of the new window, describes and interprets the Sherborne glass in this guide book, building on research by consultant archaeologist Jim Gibb.
This is a second-hand book. All proceeds go directly to supporting the only museum of stained glass in the UK.
