Molten Wonky

Katie Lynn has transformed her love of glass into Molten Wonky, an original and colourful business selling fused glass gifts, all handmade at her studio in Essex.

Katie's passion for colour, concept and form is evident in everything she makes. She began working with glass as a student at Chelsea School of Art, but it was when she had opportunity to work with fused glass that she found a process that allowed her design philosophy to come to life. The fluidity of molten glass enables a serendipitous approach to making which Katie embraces, enjoying the element of chance in her work's final form. Using hand cut glass, often with dichroic, millefiori, wire and paint details, Katie creates glass pieces that celebrate the wonky and the quirky in vibrant technicolour!
