This book does not attempt to be a definitive scholarly work. Rather, it is a simple celebration of the glory of stained glass. The idiosyncratic collection of images within the book's pages illustrate most of the styles and techniques of stained glass, from the simple but powerful medieval windows of All Saints, York, to the great hymns in glass of Chartres, to the work of the Victorian master craftsmen and modern artists. 

This is a second-hand book. All proceeds go directly to supporting the only museum of stained glass in the UK.
