Angel Lens Cloth

This printed lens cloth features a design taken from our Museum collection. 

'Wrestling with the Angel' is a contemporary stained glass panel designed and made in 2012 by Mark Angus. Although Angus trained in architectural glass, this panel was conceived as an autonomous work, meaning it was made as an artwork and not to glaze a specific building. Much of Angus's work concerns the human figure; in 'Wrestling...' you can see this explored in beautiful, expressionistic strokes of paint on mouthblown blue glass.
