Nativity Window Transfer

This window transfer features a design taken from our Museum collection.

'Nativity' is a rare example of artist Francis Spear's early work in glass. It was made in 1923, while he was still a student of Industrial Design at London's Central School of Art and Design. In this piece, Spear depicts a biblical story in a modern visual language - an ability that was present throughout his later career. Spear would go on to become an accomplished stained glass artist, producing hundreds of windows for churches and cathedrals.

Window transfers fix to a surface by static, are fully repositionable and leave no residue - just peel off the backing sheet and smooth on to a clean dry window.
