Join us for a Q&A with David Judson and Tim Carey whose journey to create the worlds largest stained glass window is documented through the film 'Holy Frit'.

For those who have not yet seen the film, we recommend watching in advance. The film can be streamed or purchased online for just a few pounds and is available on Amazon Prime, YouTube and Apple TV.

About Holy Frit: In this visceral three-year race against time, Tim Carey, a talented, yet unknown LA artist bluffs his way into winning the commission to create the largest stained-glass window of its kind in the world. The problem is, he doesn’t know how to make it. After a desperate search, he finds someone who might have the answer…a world famous glass maestro, named, Narcissus Quagliata. As the fates of three communities hang in the balance, Narcissus arrives like a storm, and everything changes.

Q&A: Meet David and Tim on Zoom to hear more about the film, the window, The Judson Studios and Tim’s creative practice on Wednesday 2 April at 7pm (BST). A link to submit your questions to David and Tim will be sent to you.  A limited number of live questions will be taken on the evening too.

David Judson has the honour of being the 5th generation owner and operator of Los Angeles based, The Judson Studios, a small, but distinguished stained glass company founded in 1897 by his great-great grandfather. Over the years, he has successfully transitioned the business into the 21st century.

Tim Carey was trained in traditional drawing and painting, but discovered stained glass by chance, on a tour of The Judson Studios in Los Angeles in 2003. Tim was immediately hooked, and worked at the studio for 14 years where he transitioned to fused glass in 2016 upon completion of the Resurrection Window in Leawood, Kansas. He opened his own Tim Carey Studio in 2018.
