Polar Bear with star charm by Terry Chance

This polar bear is handmade using the copper foil technique. The bear’s glass shape is scored and cut, edges are ground and then wrapped in copper foil. Wire work is added to create character, and to form the base upon which the bear sits upright. The wire and foil are then soldered with a mix of lead and tin. Finally, the bear is given a thorough polish and adorned with a star charm.

Dimensions, including wirework, approximately 10x5x3.5cm.

As a handmade original each polar bear is unique, slight variations are to be expected
