June Massey

As a young child June was fascinated by the skills of the artists who produced beautiful glass animals using the flamework technique. Her love of glass continued throughout her life until a chance opportunity to make a small fused glass coaster ignited a desire to make her own. After a series of courses, workshops, research and a lot of ‘trial and error’ June turned her love of glass into her business, Semperart Glass.  Semper is the Latin word for ‘always’ and reflects the fact that the colour in her glass will, for generations to come, remain as beautiful as it is when it leaves her kiln. June loves the tactile nature of fused glass and spends hours experimenting with different fusing techniques and creating new designs.

She has had an amazing journey and feels that there is so much more for her to learn and explore!
